David LaMotte is a singer/songwriter, author, and speaker, with four books, thirteen albums, and 3500 concerts on five continents to his name. His dense speaking and workshop calendar has included presenting at the PC(USA) Mission to the United
Nations, and keynoting conferences in India, Australia, Germany, and at the Scottish Parliament. In 2025, he was a keynote speaker at the opening plenary for the 2025 Rotary International Convention, addressing a stadium audience of 16,000 people. A few months later, he spoke as a part of the Jefferson Educational Society’s Global Summit, in a lineup of seventeen speakers that included Neil deGrasse Tyson, Mike Pence, and Barack Obama. His most recent album, Still, features the song, September Me, which hit number one on the Folk Radio Charts. He is currently collaborating with Ugandan musician Chinobay on a cross-cultural world music project.
